Janet Lewis

As Vice President of Worldwide Financial Services at Microsoft, Lewis is responsible for leading the development and execution of Microsoft’s global financial services strategy, including the prioritization of industry solutions and their alignment to Microsoft’s worldwide partner ecosystem and its digital platform.

Lewis brings more than 30 years of global financial services sales and executive management experience to Microsoft, having grown and scaled numerous emerging and Fortune 500 companies. Prior to joining Microsoft, Lewis was Head of Northeast at Amazon Web Services (AWS), Commercial Sales. She oversaw enterprise and focused accounts in an array of industry sectors including Financial Services, Telecoms, Retail, Manufacturing, and Media and Entertainment.

Prior to her role at Amazon Web Services (AWS), Lewis served as Global VP at Oracle and VP, Financial Service Americas Enterprise Group at Hewlett Packard. At HP, Lewis contributed $3.9 billion to revenues in Capital Markets, Banking, Insurance and Payments industries.

Prior to HP, Lewis held two different roles at SunGard. She began as Managing Director for SunGard Business Integration for the Americas where she increased profitability within four quarters. She then went on to become a member of SunGard Data Systems’ senior management team, serving as President of Global Account Management and Consulting Services. She managed SunGard’s largest global clients and consultancy services group.

In addition to Lewis’ substantial financial services background, she also has business development and strategy experience having served as VP of Business Development for the NASDAQ Stock Market. While at NASDAQ, Lewis was responsible for business development for NASDAQ globally. She oversaw client relationship management for NASDAQ listed companies and was responsible for NASDAQ’s renewed sales strategy and expansion plans.

Lewis has three daughters and lives in Manhattan.
