A top 3 North American Bank modernized their legacy core banking ecosystem that had been highly customized over the years leading to increased costs, complexity, and inflexibility, thereby creating an urgency to modernize to achieve agility, differentiated capabilities and technology parity.
The Bank engaged Cognizant Consulting to drive the transformation strategy, design and roadmap. Our approach pivoted on progressively modernizing the core banking ecosystem by unbundling the existing monolith, making the target state streamlined, flexible and agile using a Domain Driven Design approach that leveraged BIAN as the guiding framework.
