The Service Landscape 5.0 release is being coordinated with the publication of the BIAN semantic API guidelines. These describe how the high level semantic BIAN service operations provide a basis for defining open APIs.

The API Semantic Guidelines webinar describes the framework for defining and shaping the service encapsulation for top down service integrations between financial institutions and service providers internally and externally.

The presented How-To guide will provide technology agnostic industry techniques and standards to help API designers align directly to business capabilities in the BIAN service landscape. The guide is intended to propel the banking industry towards a consistent approach for a business capability aligned IT strategy.

Annap Derebail, Executive Architect with IBM will discuss during the webinar how IBM leveraged the Topdown BIAN methodology to take a business concept driven through storyboards to implemented RESTful deployed code, using the Semantic API How-To guide methodologies.
