Webinar: Implementing BIAN Service Domains using the IFX Business Message Specification

December 16, 2013

BIAN and the IFX Forum are pleased to demonstrate how their respective standards can be mapped to a bank’s current IT landscape and using the standards together can achieve breakthrough efficiencies in the software development lifecycle.
In this webinar, BIAN and the IFX Forum show how:

BIAN-defined service domains could be mapped to and implemented using a pre-existing service oriented messaging standard — in this case, the IFX Business Message Specification, and The IFX Service Framework could be used to implement a pre-existing view of standard business services — in this case, the BIAN Service Landscape.

We will walk through an example business scenario, drill down to the underlying BIAN service operations, then map to the IFX Message Specification, demonstrating how this real life business scenario can implemented using a combination of the 2 standards. Banks will then be able to optimize their business capabilities to:

  • Accelerate the development lifecycle
  • Clearly define the scope of services offered to, or provided by, external partners
  • Isolate legacy systems from external changes by defining them as services within the overall services landscape
  • Implement open message standard using the BIAN Service Landscape
