Success Story
Fusion5

In 2016, Fusion5 initiated a project to incorporate BIAN into its day-to-day practices to support a strategic goal of enhancing its financial integration service offerings and address the growing demand for standardized, scalable, and future-proof solutions in the financial sector.
The business’s Financial Interoperability Practice, which now consists of 28 specialists, saw the transformative potential of the BIAN framework to overcome challenges
around cost, inefficiency, and misaligned technology ecosystems. Investment in the initiative has resulted in a standardized approach for consultants which incorporates in-house modular, repeatable components to deliver high-quality, low-risk solutions that deliver on key customer outcomes.
As well as adopting BIAN as its central knowledge component, the Financial Interoperability Practice at Fusion5 has innovated a service offering designed to smooth the process of implementing BIAN and minimize the risk of disillusionment.
This includes conducting BIAN Readiness Assessments to create effective strategic roadmaps, designing tailored BIAN-aligned architectures, implementing BIAN Service Domains and APIs, and providing training and knowledge transfer for long-term, independent successful operation. Using BIAN and complementary financial industry standards, such as ISO20022, FIBO, and IFX, Fusion5 has now helped clients to deliver financial products and services with greater ease, speed, and reliability for millions of customers.
“Our Financial Interoperability Practice has seen real growth – and ever-stronger client outcomes – over the course of our investment in BIAN- aligned services and knowledge” – William Findlay, Account Executive – Financial Interoperability Practice Lead
