When tasked with leading a strategic transformation for a top-tier financial institution, Keppri applied the BIAN framework to structure its approach, optimizing planning speed and execution effectiveness.
The bank’s primary objective was to expose its key capabilities through APIs, preparing to comply with open banking regulations and creating new revenue generation opportunities. Aligning BIAN’s modular service domains with this goal and the business’s IT infrastructure, along with key tools such as artificial intelligence, allowed Keppri to complete the strategic planning process, which typically takes several months, in just one week.
This process included assessing the 12 financial products in scope—and their respective existing detailed API definitions—according to the BIAN standard, resulting in a focused approach on Factoring and Corporate Loans. By narrowing the scope to these two key service domains, Keppri developed a targeted approach with a clear two-year roadmap, with implementation set for summer 2025.
The bank now complements a 100% digital experience for 50,000 customers, and with the development of this roadmap created in partnership with Keppri, its reach is expected to expand to 150,000 customers across the bank’s private and corporate banking divisions over the next two years.
