Financial Institutions (FI), Software Vendors, Consultants and the BIAN organization desire the ability to evaluate software products against the BIAN model to determine how closely aligned the software is to the BIAN models. FIs that can articulate their business capabilities and align them with the BIAN models can then in turn evaluate software products based on the percentage of alignment to both an industry reference and the FIs desired capabilities. Consultants that are working with FIs that can articulate the FI requirements aligned with the BIAN models will be able to score software products based on the percentage of alignment and suggest software products that are a potential fit for the FI.
